Nara Prefecture has sacred mountain ranges, spiritual sites, and artifacts of early Japan

The political and religious center of ancient Japan is easily accessible from Osaka and Kyoto, home to some of Japan's oldest temples and shrines. Many of these locations have flower beds planted to accentuate the surroundings. Nara Park is home to famous domesticated deer that roam freely, and the nearby Todaiji Temple is home to the world's largest bronze Buddha.
